New Projects on the Website!

Two weeks ago, we survived scorching temperatures during a photo shoot with Richard Leo Johnson of Atlantic Archives. The shoot captured:
- Gallo Pelón, a mezcal bar paired with a renovation to the upstairs dining space of a downtown Raleigh favorite, Centro
- BREW, a friendly coffee shop and hangout in Seaboard Station that serves fantastic coffee, beer, and other delights
- the NCSU Pergola, which updates an existing bus stop to provide shelter from the rain
- GoJoe, a mobile cart and music box for Jubala Coffee
We are thankful for great clients who allowed us to photograph the spaces we created with them. And, we love working with Richard! In addition to being an excellent photographer, he is an amazing musician. To hear his latest album, click here.

Residential Projects Update

The Ten at South Person

Poinsettia

Over the past year, guitarist and singer Vincent Whitehurst of architecture and Foundation Bar fame, bassist Finley Lee, and Matt (drums) have been cultivating the sound of their band, Poinsettia. On Sunday, the trio had their first show, at Neptune’s Parlour, opening for the incomparable Gray Young. The set for the show included twelve original songs, and over seventy-five people came out in support. For Matt, this was his first ever live performance of original music – he powered through the nerves and had a blast! You can stay abreast of Poinsettia’s exploits on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Photo credit © Abby Nardo.
